Managing the Supply Chain Beginning to End through Vertical Integration

ARAUCO's manufacturing practices adhere to precise, standardized procedures in a corporate culture that embraces continuous improvement and operations excellence. We strive to create a value chain beginning with raw materials supply, substrate production and value-added remanufacturing, investing in both our success and the success of our customers.

Improving Efficiency and Assuring Quality

ARAUCO co-locates its substrate mills with value-added product manufacturing. Vertical integration of production and supply chain in this manner assures predictable supply and quality, and promotes environmentally responsible manufacturing.

Prism TFL on high quality particleboard and MDF substrate, is manufactured entirely by ARAUCO at our facilities across North America. We manage our own inventories to maintain a current and balanced design offering and a dependable supply you can count on.

Additionally, ARAUCO treats its own papers for the TFL laminating process at a dedicated facility in North Carolina. Our Biscoe plant treats papers for more than 100 unique designs and pigments, with significant lab and testing capabilities.

Our MDF moulding mills are co-located with MDF plants. HDF manufacturing in New Brunswick incorporates in-line capabilities to apply direct paint and decorative print finishes. Equally, in Chile, our pine sawmills and MDF mills are co-located with our plywood mills and remanufacturing plants for moulding.
