NEB'S FUN WORLD in Toronto offers guests a thrilling experience, combining bowling, bumper cars, go-carts, VR games, carnival rides, a roller coaster, and more. Tom England recently renovated the greeting, information, and ticket area with the idea of making a positive first impression on guests and setting the stage for a delightful experience.

When selecting materials for the welcome center, England was impressed by the machinability and durability of PRISM TFL. He hoped to find a design that upheld his concept of a dark, rich, but rustic-looking material. England ultimately chose WF439 Outlandia—a warm-toned reclaimed wood, with varying degrees of mineralization, accented by an embossed leather.

In the process of building his welcome center, England unwittingly conducted a TFL durability test. "I had a stack of it in the shop, and I didn't realize my guys were walking over one of the sheets the whole time. Initially, I was upset, but then I thought, 'What if I just brush it off and see how it looks.' It actually held up fine to foot traffic, which blew my mind."
